Core Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant at EBN, your responsibilities include:
- Providing supportive supervision to ensure children’s safety and overall development (physical, emotional, and academic).
- Assisting the classroom teacher in preparing activities that support each child’s unique learning needs.
- Helping with daily care routines such as toileting, feeding, and mealtime assistance.
- Participating in nursery events including open weekends, publicity activities, and student outings.
- Keeping playrooms, materials, and learning areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assisting in welcoming and supporting new staff members as part of a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Supervising meals and preparing baby bottles when required.
- Completing laundry and general housekeeping duties related to classroom needs.
- Attending staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled by the nursery.
- Following all Policies and Procedures of Emirates British Nursery.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of a High School Certificate or a recognized vocational qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level II).
- Experience working in a nursery, daycare, or early years environment is preferred. Experience from the candidate’s home country is acceptable.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework is an advantage.
