Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammalian cell culture for large-scale cultivated meat production.
  • Prepare buffers, solutions, and culture media for both small and large-scale workflows.
  • Analyze cell metabolites, media components, and process parameters using bioanalytical techniques.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to cell growth, viability, and productivity.
  • Document laboratory work accurately and maintain detailed scientific records.
  • Communicate progress and technical updates with clients and project teams.
  • Liaise with vendors and third-party labs to procure materials and obtain test results on time.
  • Write and execute experimental plans, technical reports, protocols, and white papers.
  • Lead, train, and manage research officers and junior scientists.
  • Support product application, marketing content, and preparation of quotations.
  • Ensure compliance with SFA guidelines and follow rigorous cGMP practices in large-scale cell culture production.
  • Participate in continuous batch production while maintaining consistent product quality.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biology or a related scientific field (mandatory).
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture.
  • Background in microbiology or cell biology.
  • Laboratory experience in aseptic techniques, bioanalysis, and general lab workflows.
  • Strong pipetting accuracy and familiarity with lab automation.
  • Ability to read scientific data, review protocols, and prepare technical documents.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including formulas and spreadsheet linking in Excel.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw scientific conclusions.
  • Ability to focus and perform repetitive laboratory motions when required.
