Key Responsibilities
As a Welder at Noble Construction, your main duties will include:
- Performing welding on structures and equipment according to stated specifications
- Using flux-core MIG welding in all positions
- Fabricating and welding from detailed drawings, blueprints, or sketches
- Conducting performance and quality inspections following established procedures
- Troubleshooting structural and equipment failures and carrying out repairs
- Documenting repair work and maintenance activities
- Operating various construction and welding equipment safely
- Gathering and staging materials needed to complete construction tasks
- Following all Noble Construction and Mosaic safety policies
- Participating in safety meetings and toolbox talks under supervision
- Supporting team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this welder position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Certified Journeyperson Welder
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to follow technical drawings and welding procedures
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in an industrial and mining environment
Additional Assets
The following skills and experience are considered an advantage:
- Previous underground mining experience
- Training and experience operating mobile equipment such as telehandlers and AWPs (Elevated Work Platforms)
