Key Cleaning Duties and Responsibilities
As a member of the cleaning team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned club areas remain clean, disinfected, and well maintained. Duties include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting locker rooms, including showers, toilets, floors, saunas, steam rooms, lockers, and sinks
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping large gym and common areas
- Deep cleaning offices and staff rooms
- Cleaning and disinfecting gym equipment and fitness accessories
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles, countertops, faucets, light switches, and water fountains
- Refilling empty paper towel dispensers
- Emptying garbage bins and taking out trash
- Emptying towel bins as required
- Cleaning spills immediately during your shift
- Reporting any cleanliness or maintenance concerns to the club manager
- Supporting the club manager’s requests related to facility cleanliness and operations
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
