Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your main duties will include:
- Safely loading and unloading excavator-mounted attachments such as buckets and hydraulic hammers
- Correctly securing all attachments on the truck to meet safety requirements
- Transporting equipment using the company’s Fuso Canter 8-tonne truck
- Conducting quality checks on attachments before delivery
- Handling delivery documentation and obtaining customer acknowledgements
- Reporting any damage found on attachments or equipment
- Cleaning hire equipment and attachments in the yard
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
- Maintaining the company vehicle in clean and working condition
- Following company safety procedures at all times
Job Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- A current LR (Light Rigid) driver’s licence
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction)
- A Forklift Licence (LF)
- A proven safe driving record
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work full-time in a hands-on environment
