Key Responsibilities
As a Welder at CSG Engineering, your main duties will include:
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to understand welding and fabrication requirements
- Preparing metal components by cutting, shaping, bending, and fitting using hand and machine tools
- Aligning and joining metal sections using appropriate welding techniques
- Performing bolting and riveting where required
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, penetration, and compliance with specifications
- Finishing welded products by cleaning, grinding, polishing, and smoothing surfaces
- Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
