Job Overview
The Sales Supervisor – Farm & Agriculture Clients is responsible for managing and growing the company’s agricultural customer base. This role combines outdoor sales, team supervision, and client relationship management. The Sales Supervisor acts as the main contact for farm customers and ensures smooth coordination between sales, warehouse, delivery, and operations teams.
The position requires regular visits to farms, understanding seasonal agricultural needs, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Management (Farm & Agriculture Sector)
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with farm and agriculture clients
- Visit farm clients regularly to understand their needs and challenges
- Handle customer inquiries and provide suitable product recommendations
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
- Resolve issues related to deliveries, product quality, or accounts
2. Sales Supervision
- Lead and supervise the sales team handling agricultural clients
- Assign daily sales tasks, routes, and customer follow-ups
- Ensure sales targets for farm and agriculture clients are achieved
- Monitor sales performance and provide guidance and training
- Support team members to improve productivity and results
3. Sales Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for order processing
- Ensure timely delivery of seeds, fertilizers, feed, tools, and other products
- Follow up on inventory availability and stock levels
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding order status and stock updates
4. Market Development
- Identify new farm clients, distributors, and agricultural businesses
- Expand the company’s customer base in the agriculture sector
- Monitor market trends, seasonal demands, and competitor activities
- Suggest new products and sales strategies based on market needs
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Maintain accurate client records, visit logs, quotations, and sales data
- Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and growth
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- 2 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture or farm supplies
- Good knowledge of agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, feed, tools, irrigation, and chemicals
- Experience working with farm clients and understanding seasonal requirements
- Valid driving license for outdoor and field sales
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
