Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, and corridors according to hotel standards
- Prepare rooms efficiently for guest arrivals and departures
- Refill, replace, and store towels and linen correctly
- Ensure all rooms meet hygiene and cleanliness requirements
- Use approved cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
- Follow safe work practices at all times
- Perform basic maintenance tasks when required
- Report and coordinate major maintenance issues with relevant departments
- Maintain high standards of property presentation
- Ensure guest privacy and security at all times
Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Willingness to follow hotel cleaning standards and procedures
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in Australia
