About the Company

One Ocean was established in 2021 to import and distribute sushi-quality seafood from international markets, particularly Japan’s renowned Toyosu Market. The company supplies premium seafood products such as uni, caviar, and fresh fish to top-tier omakase restaurants, including those within the Kissaki Hospitality Group in New York City. One Ocean is committed to sourcing the highest-quality seafood directly from fishermen and global markets, ensuring rapid delivery while maintaining freshness, sustainability, and exceptional standards for elite culinary customers.

Responsibilities

  • Use a personal SUV or small van capable of carrying 150–200 pounds of cargo
  • Transport fresh seafood to customers twice per week
  • Retrieve air freight shipments from MCO Airport
  • Load and unload seafood products safely and efficiently
  • Deliver orders to 3–4 customers within assigned routes
  • Follow delivery schedules while complying with traffic and safety regulations
  • Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and discrepancy reports
  • Ensure proper handling of fresh seafood to maintain quality standards

Requirements

  • Personal vehicle (SUV or small van) suitable for transporting seafood
  • Clean driving record and strong driving skills
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work part-time with flexible shifts
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to follow food safety and delivery protocols

Skills

  • Excellent time management and route navigation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of loading and unloading procedures
  • Familiarity with warehouse or logistics operations is an advantage
  • Ability to adapt to day, morning, or overnight shifts
