Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to build trailers accurately
- Weld metal components together according to specifications
- Use welding tools such as jigs, squares, and tape measures
- Position and clamp materials properly before welding
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized welding bay
- Meet daily production standards for trailer assembly
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Ability to perform welding-related duties safely and efficiently
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Willingness to work in a standing position for most of the day
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment
- Welding experience preferred but not required
