Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping team member, your key responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensuring all housekeeping duties meet departmental and hotel standards
- Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests
- Responding promptly to guest requests such as extra towels, cots, cribs, or other items
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and housekeeping materials
- Reporting maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department
- Following all housekeeping policies and procedures
- Adhering strictly to safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
- Assisting other hotel departments when required to ensure excellent guest service
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and consistently
- Willingness to follow hotel policies, safety rules, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if required
- Previous housekeeping experience is an advantage but not mandatory
