Responsibilities
As a Welder with Division 26 Inc., your responsibilities will include:
- Performing welding duties on ship repairs, new builds, and custom refit projects
- Reading and interpreting welding procedures, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Carrying out welding tasks in steel fabrication and shipbuilding environments
- Working safely in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Handling, lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Using ladders, scaffolding, and platforms while maintaining safety compliance
- Supporting extended work hours, overtime, and shift work as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite in line with company and safety regulations
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
- Following all safety, environmental, and operational policies
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Red Seal Welder / Journeyperson certification
- Valid Flux Core welding qualification
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Physical ability to perform demanding labor in shipbuilding environments
- Comfort working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions

Pay and Benefits
