Job Responsibilities
As a Cleaner, your main responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning vacant residential units during turnovers, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and appliances
- Assisting with month-end cleaning of turnover units
- Cleaning and sanitizing common areas such as hallways, stairwells, lobbies, entrances, and amenity spaces
- Cleaning mechanical and electrical rooms as required
- Emptying trash and recycling bins and ensuring proper waste disposal
- Assisting with exterior garbage pickup when needed
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting inventory needs to the supervisor
- Following health and safety regulations when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Team
- Assisting with cleaning during special events or emergency situations such as floods or accidents
- Ensuring secure handling of keys and access to tenant units
- Maintaining positive and professional interactions with tenants, staff, and contractors
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working with cleaning agents
- Willingness to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
