Responsibilities
Key duties of a Security Guard include:
- Conducting preventive patrols in assigned locations, including businesses, residences, shopping centers, hospitals, airports, and hotels.
- Monitoring entrances and exits, maintaining access control through patrols, bicycles, motorcycles, golf carts, or patrol vehicles.
- Inspecting and logging vehicles, visitors, and deliveries within the assigned premises.
- Preparing incident reports using the mobile device Guardek.
- Regulating vehicular traffic in assigned areas if required.
- Responding promptly to security incidents or emergencies and performing other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Availability to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in Spanish (required)
- Valid driver’s license
