Responsibilities

Key duties of a Security Guard include:

  • Conducting preventive patrols in assigned locations, including businesses, residences, shopping centers, hospitals, airports, and hotels.
  • Monitoring entrances and exits, maintaining access control through patrols, bicycles, motorcycles, golf carts, or patrol vehicles.
  • Inspecting and logging vehicles, visitors, and deliveries within the assigned premises.
  • Preparing incident reports using the mobile device Guardek.
  • Regulating vehicular traffic in assigned areas if required.
  • Responding promptly to security incidents or emergencies and performing other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to read and write effectively
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Proficiency in Spanish (required)
  • Valid driver’s license
