Responsibilities
- Assist with general farm duties and livestock management
- Work with sheep, deer, and cattle in research trials
- Support lambing activities, including recording lambing events
- Collaborate with science teams to implement trial protocols
- Maintain farm infrastructure, including fencing and pasture care
- Perform weed spraying and general farm maintenance
- Ensure trials are carried out according to design and standards
- Maintain field resources and equipment
- Follow safe work practices at all times
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years farm experience
- Knowledge of animal health, stock handling, and record keeping
- Experience with TruTest systems is an advantage
- Full driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to research-based farming
