Responsibilities
Crop Work
- Care for tomato plants (leafing, pollinating, twisting, lowering)
- Work in warm, humid glasshouse environments
- Perform repetitive plant care tasks
- Work at heights when required
Picking
- Harvest tomatoes efficiently and carefully
- Work long shifts in glasshouse conditions
- Maintain quality standards during picking
- Follow safety and hygiene practices
Packing
- Pack tomatoes in a controlled indoor facility
- Ensure quality and proper handling of produce
- Maintain cleanliness in packing areas
- Perform repetitive packing tasks
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to stand or walk for long periods
- Ability to work in warm and humid environments (for crop and picking roles)
- Basic understanding of English
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Valid work rights in Australia
