Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene in kitchen areas
- Ensure Back of House areas meet high cleanliness standards
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment properly
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily tasks
- Reduce loss and breakage of utensils, glassware, and equipment
- Ensure proper cleaning and use of dishwashing machinery
- Maintain food holding and transport equipment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- At least 3 months experience as a dishwasher or kitchen steward
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety protocols
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning tasks
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, including holidays
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Reliable and hardworking
