Job Summary – Part One
The Welding Engineer role is responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising welding procedures for a wide range of steel grades, including mild steel (MS), stainless steel (SS), and alloy steels. The engineer will select appropriate welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and SAW based on project specifications and ensure compliance with required standards.
This role also includes managing pre-heating, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), and stress-relief processes to maintain the integrity and quality of welded components. The Welding Engineer ensures that all welding activities meet safety regulations and industry codes while maintaining efficiency and productivity.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the Welding Engineer will also play a key role in troubleshooting issues, conducting performance checks, and proposing corrective actions.
