Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor production plans for tomato and cucumber crops
- Oversee daily farm operations including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting
- Implement modern agricultural techniques to improve crop yield and quality
- Ensure efficient use of water, fertilizers, and agricultural equipment
- Conduct soil analysis and recommend corrective measures to improve soil health
- Supervise farm workers and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of production data, growth cycles, and farm performance
- Identify and resolve issues related to plant health, climate control, and farm machinery
- Coordinate with suppliers and management to ensure smooth farm operations
- Utilize precision agriculture tools and technologies to maximize productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in vegetable production (tomatoes and cucumbers)
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory)
- Ability to work full-time in Qatar
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of greenhouse farming and open-field cultivation
