Responsibilities
As a Freight Rate Filing Employee, your daily tasks will include:
- Receiving new rate filing requests and checking that all information follows company guidelines.
- Entering ocean freight rates into our internal system using the TMS application.
- Communicating with international agents and our headquarters in Geneva to clarify any unclear details.
- Helping to solve disputes between MSC and clients by finding what went wrong in the process.
- Guiding agents on correct procedures to reduce mistakes and delays in rate filings.
- Taking part in team meetings and working towards both personal and team goals.
Requirements
To apply for this position, you should have:
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills to handle tasks and meet deadlines.
- The ability to manage your time well and work on different tasks at once.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work with others in a team.
- No previous work experience is needed – we welcome fresh graduates.
