Role Overview

The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth flow of office activities. The role involves handling paperwork, managing office supplies, coordinating deliveries, and supporting internal teams with documentation and general office requirements. This position is crucial for maintaining efficiency, organization, and confidentiality within the office environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Office Assistant at GMG, your duties will include:

  • Performing general clerical tasks such as typing, photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
  • Managing and maintaining office files, records, and documentation
  • Monitoring stock levels of pantry items and office supplies
  • Ensuring timely replenishment of office essentials and maintaining inventory records
  • Assisting in the collection, distribution, and dispatch of payment vouchers, letters, bills, and courier documents
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing courier services and tracking deliveries
  • Supporting the supply, maintenance, and coordination of office equipment
  • Entering, updating, and maintaining data in internal systems and databases
  • Assisting with document control activities to ensure easy access and proper storage
  • Handling office-related queries from staff and providing general administrative support
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all documents and sensitive information
