Responsibilities
- Work in chicken farming and layer poultry farming environments
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and work areas
- Handle poultry safely and responsibly
- Perform daily livestock and poultry feeding tasks
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and poultry pens
- Monitor poultry and livestock for signs of disease or health issues
- Report health problems in poultry or livestock when detected
- Maintain clean and organized farm work areas
- Follow farm safety procedures and hygiene standards
- Support general poultry farm operations as required
Requirements
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Previous poultry or farm work experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a chicken and poultry farming environment
