Lineage Logistics New Zealand is seeking a reliable and hardworking Storeperson Job in New Zealand to join its cold storage facility located in Tauriko, Tauranga. This role plays a critical part in the safe and efficient operation of a temperature-controlled warehouse, supporting the movement of food products from producers to customers. Job Responsibilities
As a Storeperson, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the safe and efficient operation of a cold storage facility
- Operating a forklift to move and store goods
- Handling cartons weighing up to 27kg
- Picking, packing, and scanning stock using barcode systems
- Working in frozen and chilled environments
- Maintaining accurate inventory handling and storage practices
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required
- Contributing positively to team performance and site efficiency
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Have forklift experience (essential)
- Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 27kg
- Be comfortable working in frozen and chilled environments
- Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate reliability and a good work record
- Be commit to workplace health and safety
- Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Be able to pass referee checks and a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
