Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely to their destinations using appropriate routes
- Follow mobile computer systems and assigned schedules
- Pick up customers and drop them off at designated locations
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading baggage when required
- Process fare payments using EFTPOS machines
- Start and stop the taximeter accurately for each trip
- Maintain trip logs, reports, and required records
- Adhere to all road rules and transport regulations
- Follow health and safety policies at all times
- Ensure passengers remain safe throughout the journey
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and in excellent condition
- Report vehicle issues to car groomers or maintenance teams
- Work according to rostered shifts from Tuesday to Sunday
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 clean driver’s licence with no history of traffic violations
- Ability to work early morning shifts (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Availability to work weekends
- Minimum availability of 30 hours, up to 50 hours per week
- Clean character background
- Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs in the workplace
- Ability to follow schedules, systems, and company procedures
- Physically able to assist passengers with luggage when required
