Responsibilities
Crop Work
- Care for tomato plants through leafing, pollinating, twisting, and lowering
- Work inside large glasshouses with warm and humid conditions
- Stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Work at heights when required
- Follow rostered shifts, mainly Monday to Friday
Picking
- Pick tomatoes according to quality standards
- Work in warm, humid glasshouse environments
- Stand or walk for up to 9.5 hours per shift
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Occasionally work at heights
- Work rostered shifts mainly Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Packing
- Pack tomatoes in an indoor packing facility
- Work in temperatures that may be cooled to 12°C
- Stand for up to 9.5 hours per shift
- Perform repetitive packing tasks
- Follow rostered shifts mainly Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Requirements
- Valid work rights for Australia
- Reliable transport to and from the worksite
- Physical fitness to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to work in warm and humid environments (crop and picking roles)
- Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on production needs
- Ability to work safely and follow hygiene standards
- Secure accommodation in or near Guyra is preferred
