Job Summary (Part 1)

The Mobile Equipment Welder role is crucial to the maintenance and longevity of B2Gold’s mobile mining equipment. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Maintenance, you will be responsible for performing welding, cutting, brazing, and fabrication on heavy-duty mining equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, graders, and drills.

This position requires a fly-in fly-out 3×3 rotation to the Nunavut site, which provides an excellent balance between work and time off. The work involves both preventive maintenance and corrective repairs, ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently under demanding mining conditions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include inspecting equipment for cracks and structural wear, reading technical blueprints, and fabricating replacement parts as needed.
