Key Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications accurately
- Perform Carbon Arc Air Gouging
- Carry out Plasma and Oxy Fuel Cutting
- Execute Flux Core Welding (1/16’’ & 3/32)
- Perform MCAW Welding (1/16’’)
- Conduct SMAW Welding
- Perform MIG Welding (0.035)
- Carry out line boring operations
- Perform fitting and fabrication tasks
- Work on heavy equipment rebuilds, including buckets and haul trucks
- Operate overhead cranes safely
- Determine weldability of various materials
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Maintain welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
- Perform minor repairs on welding-related equipment
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple welding techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work with heavy equipment and large components
- Proficiency in both English and French
- High level of English speaking and writing skills
