Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding to fabricate and repair metal structures.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Cut, grind, and prepare metal components for welding work.
- Align and fit metal parts to create secure and precise welds.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet project and industry standards.
- Follow all workplace safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, tradespeople, and project managers.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist in completing projects within timelines while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a welder in construction or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of welding safety procedures.
