Responsibilities
- Perform milking and manage shed operations
- Monitor animal health and maintain accurate records
- Assist with calving during seasonal periods
- Support weed control and pasture management
- Operate tractors and farm machinery
- Carry out fencing and general farm maintenance
- Perform cleaning and wash-down duties
- Follow farm procedures for animal welfare and safety
- Work closely with team members to complete daily tasks
Requirements
- Previous dairy farming experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on farm work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive attitude
- Must currently be in New Zealand
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing and character checks
