Key Responsibilities
As a Fruit Farm Labourer, your duties will include:
- Picking row crops and orchard fruits according to crop type and quality standards.
- Sorting, weighing, and packing fruits and vegetables based on customer orders.
- Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce.
- Assisting with greenhouse operations, including starting and transplanting plants.
- Cleaning racks, trays, and growing or packing areas as per company standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness across the farm and work areas.
- Planting crops and weeding fields to support optimal plant growth.
- Performing other general farm duties as required.
Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should:
- Be available to work from April 13th to December 13th.
- Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
- Be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Be willing to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Have attention to detail when handling produce.
